Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am an aide in a Pre-K PPCD class. I started last year in November. Ages range from 3-5. I have also had many years of experience babysitting. Early this March I ended up moving to California to be with a friend, who I think of as a sister, to help with her newborn. She gets very bad postpartum, so I moved from Texas to CalCalifornia for five almost six months until I knew she was healthy.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Since I do work with children in a school setting of course I love doing educational activities. Working with our ABC’s, numbers, shapes, etc. because that is so important to know. Writing our names and learning our colors. Art activities are a lot of fun because it's engaging and the kids can still learn.
I am a firm believer on that kids should be outside. Even if it's only for ten minutes. Going on a walk or to the park. Play basketball or play outside in the backyard.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Then most important part about being a nanny is making sure the parents are comfortable, so they know their kids are safe in my hands while they are away. The next important part is making sure the kids are safe, having fun, and learning along the way.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children that have Autism, Down Syndrome, learning disabilities, partial hearing disabilities. I had to learn how to sign a little, I am not the best, but I am learning.
I worked a lot one on one with our children in my classroom that special needs. Something about them just makes me want to push myself to do the very best, so I know they can learn as much as they can.
I absolutely love working with special needs children because one day I will become a Special Education teacher!
