When I was a freshman in high school I nannied a one year old for the entire summer.
In highschool I worked at a daycare for three years in my hometown until I left for college.
I also have had numerous families that I have babysat for from the amount of kids being 1 - 5. and ages ranging newborn - 8 years old.
I also regularly nanny a two year old and five year old every sunday.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Working at the daycare has very much expanded my horizon on activities to do with children. Some things to do at home could be hide n seek, simon says, board games and much more. Depending on the ages of kids some other activities could be taking them to the park, the pool, maybe going to get a treat every once in awhile. However in the winter it would more thank likely be indoor activities or being super bundled up outside. I would have a conversation with you to see what you are comfortable with, with it being so cold outside.

I think the most important part is being completely honest and if I have a question about anything that it’s better to ask instead of just do. Communication is key.

When I nannied the one year old boy anytime I would have trouble getting him to take his naps, there was trails only two blocks from his house that I would take him on a walk and every time I could get him to fall asleep. Safe to say we went on many many walks!
