Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love the outdoors from hiking to fishing, to throwing the ball around on a warm summer day. I am also very crafty and have a ton of fun coming up with art projects to do with kiddos. Do your little ones like music? Me too!!! I love to sing and be silly creating a fun and energetic environment.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I absolutely love to make little ones laugh and feel loved. It is important for me to help them learn and have a fantastic day. I enjoy being a part of that. I think it is important for kids to have structure and know they have a voice too.
My experience with special needs children...
I worked a lot with children more so with learning difficulties such as reading, or behavior needs. However, being a caregiver for our elderly Veterans has given me a lot of insite. I have dealt with adults having dementia, paralysis, bed ridden patients, and some with catheters and such. I know that will come into playing a big role in helping me accommodate children with other specific needs as well.
