Full-Time Nanny Available in Sterling Heights, MI: Dashonna H.
Hi\! My name is Dashonna Lucy. I’m 23 years old and recently married. I graduated from Macomb Community College in 2022 and went straight into working in education. For the past three years, I’ve worked as a substitute teacher, and I’ve also had experience as a paraprofessional in a special education classroom.
Working with children is something I genuinely enjoy. I love being able to build relationships with kids, have fun with them, and be someone they can feel comfortable and safe around. My experience in schools has also taught me to be patient, flexible, dependable, and able to work with children who have different personalities, needs, and routines.
At this point in my life, I’m looking for a more personal and consistent childcare position where I can really get to know the family and become someone they can rely on. I’m very flexible and open\-minded, and I’m hoping to find a stable position that I can stay in long-term while I continue working toward my bachelor’s degree.
