The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is being a dependable, emotionally-attuned caregiver who supports the child’s wellbeing, development, and routine while giving parents peace of mind and consistency at home.
I take pride In my natural care-taking / empathetic nature which allows me to be capable in any, every and all situations.

My experience with special needs children...
I’ve only worked with one family that had one child with non-verbal autism. Although non-verbal, he was still very easy to understand with patience and using certain gestures, sounds or his conversation tablet. I really enjoyed working with this family and getting to know the other sides of autism first hand rather than through social media.
I worked with this family while living in Tennessee for 5 months in 2023 and since then have gone on to work with 2 more families since 2025.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped twins build a blanket fort and read them goodnight moon 5times in a row inside until they fell asleep halfway through the last reading. It reminded me of my childhood back when I used to build pillow and blanket forts with my younger siblings and still is a very heartwarming moment.

Part-Time Nanny Available in Atlanta, GA: Michayla G.
I currently work as a waitress at The Iberian Pig in Buckhead and live in West Midtown with reliable transportation. I have lots of experience with kids ranging in age from infants to older teenagers. I used to be a nanny for about two years for a family with a 1 year old and a 3 year old when I was in high-school. The 3 year old suffered with pretty severe autism, so I am no stranger to a challenge. I also helped care for my younger sister (8 years my junior) and younger brother (12 years my junior) their whole lives. Also, prior to my job now, I worked as a phlebotomist and a medical assistant at an urgent care for two years, where we treated all ages, so I am used to kids in every condition. I have been CPR/AED/First Aid certified for several years (that being said, I believe my certification recently expired, so I’ll need to renew).
