Hi, my name is Brooklynn and I have a little over 3 years of experience in the childcare setting. I worked in a licensed daycare as a lead infant teacher for a year, where I cared for multiple infants daily, and gained extensive experience with developmental milestones, safe sleep, feeding schedules etc.
I left that job in November when I began private nannying for a great family, providing attentive one-on-one care and supporting their child's daily routine, growth, and development. This position is coming to an end in May as their baby will be starting daycare, so I am now looking for my next long-term nanny opportunity. I truly love working with children and pride myself on being, reliable, organized, and communicative with the family. I'm seeking a full or part time position (30-40hrs) where I can build a strong, lasting relationship with a family.

The most important part about being a nanny is building that trust, not just with the child, but the parents as well. Parents are trusting you with their whole world. Forming a strong bond with the child, and treating them as you would your own, and maintaining open and honest communication with parents is what makes the partnership so successful.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments (that still happens) is when in the morning I go to my nanny babies house, and I walk inside, and she starts squealing because she’s so happy to see me. I pick her up, and she goes straight for my face to give me “kisses”. It always makes me excited for the mornings, and never fails to make me smile.
