Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In high school I was a volunteer for special needs children from elementary- highschool age kids. I also volunteered for the preschools in my county. I have babysat kids for as long as i can remember from family members to complete strangers. I recently in the past year and a half babysat for a family with 4 kids and we have always had a blast!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor activities I like to do with children are reading, coloring, painting, board games, cards, crafting and anything they would like to do. Outdoor activities depends on weather. We could go on walks, parks, play outside games like tag, races, and any active things that they would enjoy!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing to me about being a nanny is showing the kids no judgement. I love when kids are just kids and let their imagination take them wherever. I think it’s important to set boundaries but I also, think it shows who they are and that’s what matters to me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a lot of experience with special needs. My mom and my sister are both special needs teachers!About 7 years ago we adopted a little boy with special needs and we couldn’t love him anymore than we already do. I volunteered all years of highschool to special needs classes in every school in my county!
