I've cared for children in a variety of settings, both as a kindergarten teacher and as a babysitter for family and friends. My experience ranges from full days of structured learning and classroom management to more relaxed, one-on-one time at home, meals, homework help, playtime, and bedtime routines. I'm also comfortable adapting to different ages and personalities, and I've worked with kids who have different learning needs as a substitute teacher in special education classrooms. What I care about most is building genuine trust with both the kids and their parents, so everyone feels comfortable and supported

I love keeping kids active and engaged through hands-on activities, like outings to the zoo or park, arts and crafts, baking together, nature walks, story time, scavenger hunts, and imaginative play like building forts or putting on little shows. I keep screen time to a minimum so we can spend our time moving, creating, and using our imaginations instead
