"Caitlin has been an absolute joy to have as our nanny! She is so sweet and sincere with our daughter, and our little one lights up whenever she sees Caitlin arrive. Caitlin is playful and creative in how she engages children, and always patient. She has also been a huge help with housekeeping tasks and errands, and looks for other ways to lend a helping hand. We’ve truly felt so lucky to have her."

"I highly recommend Caitlin as a nanny for your child. She worked with us for a few months taking care of my baby (<1 year old). Caitlin is very patient, calm and sweet. She prepared our baby's bottles, went for walks, dressed her up accordong to the weather, played with her, and helped her nap. She is very trustworty: she is always on-time and she didn't miss one day.
Caitlin also asked us every day how she could help us with the baby and with keeping the house in order."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked with ASAP drama teaching an after-school theatre class to kindergarten through 2nd grade.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts and crafts, watching movies, listening to and playing music, & going on walks!
The most important part about being a nanny...
is to continuously remain open to the child's imagination! To me, a nanny is part friend, part caretaker. The child/children's safety and well-being is my number one priority, but receiving their trust as a friend is a really close second.
My experience with special needs children...
No experience with special needs children, but I am happy to learn!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Rainy day activity. All three of us were sitting on the floor, eating popcorn, and watching Frozen. The thunder and lighting was scaring both of the girls, so I told them to sing along with the movie, and to be louder than the thunder. Belting out "Let It Go" with them and being louder than the thunderstorm outside was definitely a moment I won't ever forget!

Nannying is a spectacularly fun and varied job, for which there is only one way to work, and that is at 100%! Children thrive on the energy and the love that their caregivers exhibit, so its important to always stay positive no matter the circumstance, and keep the excitement coming!
My favorite activities to do with children are undoubtedly artistic, as I spend my free time painting, sewing, and crafting too, so I love the opportunity to extend that into the children's homes as well. Of course, its important that I always kept a balance of getting us outside to see friends or on our own for some fun exercise and sports as well.
