The most important part about being a nanny...
Respect: Respecting dignity, respecting privacy, respecting boundaries, communication, holding empathy, and upholding good time management.
I uphold to the highest regard respect for the kids I am entrusted with and I uphold respect for their caregivers entrusting me with their gifts of life. It’s of priority to me that there is respect of valuing one another's time and having thorough transparent communication and being able to mutually share any form of respectful feedback. I respect valuing the privacy and the boundaries of the families I connect with and service and while everyone is human, its important to me to bring and maintain positive energy.

My experience with special needs children...
+3 years with my certification/ credentials
+8 years without my certification/ credentials
I have always had family and friends who have had high support and low support loved ones who communicate and think differently and it is my life calling to figure out the puzzle to understand them, why they behave or communicate the way they do, and build a bridge between allowing them to be themselves and helping their loved ones understand them better and also teaching them how they can also communicate functionally to be understood or emotionally regulate or gain independence in skillsets.

One of my kids asked me if I could stay with him forever and another one called me neurodivergent and then laughed and said that my brain definitely works and thinks differently than most people just like his does.

Babysitter Available in Orlando, FL: Jordan W.
I am a 23 year old young woman in Orlando with experience in nannying young children (4-12), as well as being a day time camp counselor for preschool-1st grade age children. I have experience with mid-high functioning autistic children and consider myself patient and understanding to children's individual needs. I do have boundaries that I will enforce with children (ie "No means no"), but I understand that child care is full of pivots and adapting to day to day challenges. I love to be playful with children, as well as enrich them with learning opportunities whenever possible. I am looking for a family that aligns with my values and respects me as a care taker for their children!
