More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have volunteered at children's theatre companies, and I have also cared for family members and family friends ranging in ages from newborns to 13 years of age. In 2022 I began working with a family who I have been lucky enough to feel as if I am a part of there family as well. I have watched their two year old since she was two months old and have even watched their family grow from a family of three to a family of four this summer.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a former soccer player so I believe sports outside will be fun :). Football, soccer, baseball, tag etc. I love plying hide and seek even with my friends today haha. Whatever gets us having fun and running around! I also enjoy arts and crafts! I love music, coloring, finger painting, etc. I also love going to parks, going on walks, being in nature and going on little field trips.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I want to make the parents lives easier and less stressful. I would like to help you out in any ways I can. However, I also want to make an impact. I want to teach them things and create core memories that will be remembered when they get older.
My experience with special needs children...
I have never cared for a child with special needs, however, I have multiple family members and friends who’s children require a bit of extra care in which I have been exposed too and I will be happy to learn and care for all children :).
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have to say getting the honor to watch my most recent little girl I watched learn how to walk and getting to be there for that. When they have asked me to read them a book or sing them a song to help them fall asleep. Those are some of my favorite moments. But nothing beats the love you receive from them and when they learn to say your name.
