More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have gained relevant experience caring for children through my work in early childhood education settings. In my role, I supported daily routines, implemented learning activities, and created a safe, nurturing environment where children could grow socially, emotionally, and academically. I also built strong relationships with both the children and their families, which helped foster trust and consistency.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging children in a variety of hands-on and active experiences that support their overall development. Some of my favorite activities include gross motor play, such as outdoor games and movement activities, as well as baking, where children can practice following directions and build life skills. I also love incorporating art and crafts to encourage creativity and self-expression, as well as fun dance parties that allow children to move, build confidence, and enjoy being part of a group.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building a genuine, trusting relationship with the children so they feel safe, loved, and confident. When that foundation is in place, children can learn, explore, and truly be themselves. It's also about supporting the whole child—socially, emotionally, and developmentally—through everyday routines, play, and meaningful interactions. Showing up each day with patience, consistency, and care while working closely with families helps create a positive, nurturing environment where children can grow and thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was making homemade playdough with three girls, ages 3, 7, and 9. It turned into such a fun and meaningful experience as we explored learning through play—shaping letters and numbers with the playdough and watching each child engage at their own level. It was a great reminder of how creative, hands-on activities can support learning in a natural, exciting way. Of course, we wrapped up the day with a trip to get ice cream, which made it even more special and memorable for all of us.
