I enjoy doing creative and engaging activities with children that help them learn and have fun at the same time. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, story time, outdoor play like going to the park or nature walks, building with blocks or Legos, imaginative play (like dress-up or pretend cooking), and simple learning games that support reading, counting, and problem-solving. I also enjoy baking simple snacks together, doing puzzles, and encouraging quiet time with music or drawing. I always try to adapt activities based on the child’s age, interests, and energy level to keep things fun and meaningful.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where a child can thrive emotionally, physically, and mentally. It’s about showing up every day with patience, understanding, and a genuine care for their well-being. My experience with special needs children...

I have extensive experience working with children with disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. I was formerly an RBT (Registered Behavior Technician), and I also studied Special Early Education in college, which gave me both academic and hands-on training. On a personal level, my brother has autism, so I’ve grown up with a deep, first-hand understanding of the day-to-day realities, challenges, and joys of supporting someone with special needs. This work is truly my passion especially when it comes to building trust, creating structure, and helping each child shine in their own unique way.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I was caring for finally tied their shoes on their own after weeks of practicing together. The pure excitement on their face and the proud “I did it!” made me realize how rewarding it is to support those little milestones.
