A little bit about me

Hello! My name is cameryn I am a high school graduate and I’ve been helping my mother with her daycare since I was around 10. On top of that I do a lot of private babysitting for families outside of my moms hours, and i do overnight if needed. I am definitely not the most extroverted person out there but i promise I mean well and your child’s safety and health is at the upmost importance for me. I know my way around the kitchen if I need to make meals or snacks and I will always make sure me and the kids clean up after ourselves. Now I am about to be 18 and I’m sure my age makes people weary but I have plenty of references that you’re more than welcome to contact if it’d help you be more comfortable. I like to make sure parents are as comfortable as possible leaving me with their kids, especially since usually I make long lasting relationships with the parents and kids.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve helped my mom with her own daycare for several years and have watched toddlers, babies, and preteens. I do private babysitting as well for several families that I’ve been the first outside of family to watch them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy taking the kids out to parks or making crafts inside.. I do really love baking with the kids but I promise to clean up ! I also encourage independence to an extent with kids as far as them not needing to be entertained 24/7. Don’t get me wrong if that’s what you want then I’m all for it.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is obviously the children’s safety and health, but also everyone’s trust and comfort with who is watching their kids. The other most important parts are the rules that we set not only for me as the nanny but for everyone. Boundaries are an amazing thing and it helps all of us feel more comfortable in the situation.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve never cared for children with special needs just one on one, I’ve had plenty of kids with their own disabilities and struggles. I’m more than willing to do one on one with kids and to take courses or working with you to get the best outcome for your kids. I love working with kids and I’d like to believe I have the patience for it lol
