A little bit about me

I’m a caring, patient, and responsible person with 4 years of experience working with children, from infants to school-aged kids. I’ve worked as a babysitter/nanny for several families, and I truly enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and have fun in a safe environment. I love doing creative activities like crafts, reading stories, and getting kids outside when the weather is nice. I’m also very organized and good with routines, and I understand how important it is to communicate well with parents. I’m really excited about the chance to support your family and get to know your child.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve gained meaningful experience working with children through both babysitting and volunteering at an elementary school alongside my mom, who was a teacher, now a principal. While babysitting, I cared for children of various ages, managing routines like playtime, meals, homework, and bedtime. I focused on creating a fun, safe environment while building trust with both the kids and their parents. At the elementary school, I helped in the classroom with reading groups, activities, and assignments, and assisted in maintaining a positive learning atmosphere. These experiences taught me how to communicate clearly, stay patient, and support children’s individual needs in both structured and informal settings.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I really enjoy spending time with kids and keeping them entertained in fun and creative ways. Some of my favorite things to do with them are playing games, doing crafts, reading stories, and going outside to play. I also like helping them with homework or doing simple learning activities, especially when we can turn it into a game. I think it’s fun to build things with Legos, draw pictures, or even just have silly conversations and let them use their imagination. I always try to make sure they’re having a good time while also being safe and respectful.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids feel safe and cared for. It’s not just about watching them—it’s about really paying attention to what they need, whether it’s helping with something or just being there to listen. Being patient and understanding is super important because every kid is different and sometimes they need extra support. I also believe having fun with the kids and building a good relationship helps them feel comfortable and happy while I’m with them.

My experience with special needs children...

I have personal experience with special needs kids because my sister has autism. Growing up, I learned a lot about patience and understanding by spending time with her and supporting her in different ways. My dad used to be a special education teacher, and sometimes I would go with him to his classes or activities. That gave me a chance to see how teachers work with kids who have different learning needs and how important it is to be patient, kind, and flexible. These experiences have helped me become more compassionate and confident when working with kids who need extra support.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments while babysitting was with a baby I started caring for when he was just 4 months old. Over time, we really bonded, and around the time he turned one year old, he said my name for the first time. It was such a special and memorable moment because it showed how much trust and connection we had built. It made me feel proud and happy to be a part of his early growth and development.
