More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am currently a teacher’s aide at an elementary school in Mountain Brook where I spend the first half of the day with the preschoolers and the second half of the day with third grade. I have been a part of the children’s ministry for my church, have had multiple Bible studies for junior high and high school girls, was a camp counselor and also worked with children at my previous job through Children’s Harbor.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love doing a wide range of activities. I love being outside and love playing sports with kids, riding bikes, going to the playground, playing tag, jumping on the trampoline and often get fully invested and possibly too entertained by kid’s made up games. I am the type of babysitter that will come home at the end of the day sweating and with paint and dirt all over me because there’s a good chance I had just as much fun as the kids haha. I also can help with homework and school activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part about being a nanny/babysitter/teacher/childcare worker is hands down fostering a loving, caring and fun relationship with the kids. Being able to love on/ be a part of your kid’s life is an honor and a privelage that I would cherish.
My experience with special needs children...
I get experience working with special needs children every day at work. The preschool at the elementary school I work at is an integrated preschool class where half of the class have IEP‘s. I also work with kids who need a little extra help when I go to third grade during the second half of the school day.

Babysitter Available in Birmingham, AL: Jaylen G.
Hi there! My name is Jaylen Glenn and it's a pleasure to meet you! I've worked in after school care for kids and I'm a camp counselor for field trips and summer camp activities. I was a PreK teacher for KinderCare as well. My goal is to bring out the imaginations and innovation of kids. Spreading kindness and giving kids a voice of their own. Was chosen as the Alabama representative to work at Camp Walt Whitman as a cabin counselor and recently just got back from Texas as a naturalist teaching kids about nature and taking them on adventures. I've worked as a babysitter, a tutor, and even a theater teacher as well. My goal is to help kids inhance their imaginations and bring them back to the way things were when I was younger. Building forts, playing pretend, and even writing songs and singing. Bringing smiles without the use of technology.

Hi!
My name is Lynsey. I love balancing the best of both worlds—keeping kids happy, safe, and engaged while quietly making sure the house doesn't fall apart behind the scenes. Whether it's managing a chaotic calendar, meal prepping, or keeping the day running on schedule, I take pride in making life a lot easier for busy parents. I would love to chat about how I can jump in and help your family's daily routine feel a whole lot smoother. I also have 3 nephews, kids are my world and wouldn’t have it any other way!
