To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, caring, and supportive environment. I know from personal experience that kids feel their best when they know the person caring for them genuinely cares, listens, and pays attention. They deserve someone patient, reliable, and present. Its important to be someone who helps them, encourages them, and treats them with respect. I strive to always be that positive, trustworthy person that kids feel comfortable with and parents can depend on. Ultimately being person that every kid deserves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny memories come from watching my little cousins. I appreciate the simple moments like us hosting talent shows, doing fun stuff like making slime when it was popular, or playing Just Dance and just being goofy together. Those times were super fun and helped create a safe space where my cousins could just be themselves, laugh, and feel happy.
