The most important part about being a nanny is to make sure the child(ren) are being well taken care of. I've always treated them as my own. I like to ensure parents that their child is in the best care possible, and that we have lots of fun while learning at the same time! I also enjoy having that personal relationship with each family.
My experience with special needs children...
I was a substitute teacher at an elementary school for children with autism. I've also had a few students in my class who had special needs such as autism, ASD, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and down syndrome.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The funniest moment is when I was a nanny for a family who's son would procrastinate at night right before bed haha! He would start talking about all kind of stuff and wouldn't stop!
