I was an LPN for 10+ years. I finally let my nursing license expire after making a decision on furthering my education and shifting to a new career path; I aspire to become an attorney.

I have one daughter who is now a teenager. The thought of having more children has crossed my mind a few times; however, it’s never been the right time in my life. So, I always thought once my daughter leaves for college that I would become a foster mom.

I am highly involved in my daughter’s life. For instance, I was the room parent at her elementary school, a member of the PTO, and I also assisted with coaching her cheerleading squad and softball teams.

I would describe myself as kind and patient. But most importantly, I love helping people.
