Hello, my name is Carlos. I am currently working at Prarieview Lutheran Homes Nursing Home. I work in Faith Place that specializes working with Alzheimers/Dementia. While working at Praireview Lutheran Homes, I plan to register for classes provided by the nursing home to earn my CNA license to further my goal of becoming a nurse. I wanted to become a nurse because for so long I've struggled finding my path in life and working at a nursing home has changed that where it has made me sure about what I wanna pursue in life. I have previously volunteered as a Counselor for a program called "Summer In The Park." The programs allowed kids to socialize with others and be able to have fun. While working there, I learned the foundation of taking care of a child while understanding the responsibility and discipline it takes. I have experience with babysitting. I have assisted a friend with babysitting. That exposed me to a traditional house environment and allowed me to create a bond.
