Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have taken care of two children for the past 5 years since the youngest was a newborn and the oldest was 3, and have enjoyed my time with them, but with school starting soon for both of them, I am looking for something new. My job duties have included preparing simple lunches and snacks for them, cleaning up messes, changing diapers, solving sibling disputes, prioritizing safety, playing inside and outside with them, and just having fun!
I have also volunteered at a children's hospital and at Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love reading with kids, arts and crafts, drawing with chalk outside, letting them give a helping hand in the kitchen, being silly with them, playing along with the things they want to do, participating in imaginary play with them (entering their world), going on walks, doing outdoor sports like soccer and baseball, and I love teaching them new and valuable things.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a good role model for children, helping out a family in need to make their lives run smoother, keeping children safe and being a trustworthy adult for them, and being that fun person the children can look forward to spending time with!
