I am a career nanny with four years of experience! Prior to my role as a nanny, I was a museum educator and taught in classrooms throughout Cincinnati.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a big believer in play-based learning and lean into nature as my preferred "classroom". When I am with my charges, you will rarely find us indoors!

The most important thing about being a nanny is being able to meet your charges where they are at. Every day can look different and that is ok.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with children on the Autism Spectrum and with ADHD. My volunteer experience with the Special Olympics has also given me ample experience with a wide range of special needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories as a nanny was getting to pet string-rays with my nanny child at the time who was 2.5 gears old. Before reaching out to pet the sting-rays, I told her that she was brave. She paused for a minute and then whispered, " I am brave," to herself before petting one of the sting-ray. I later found out from her mom that they had been to the aquarium that weekend and she had not pet the sting-ray. My little pep talk gave her enough confidence to try again a few days later.
