Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am a high-energy person, and enjoy arts and crafts, dancing and board games. I also love the outdoors, and would be happy to take the kids on walks or to the park if that is of interest to you.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I find connecting with the children the most rewarding part, and really value being a positive role model. I also am very cautious, and think above all else the most important part about being a nanny is keeping the children safe.
My experience with special needs children...
I taught a special needs child swim lessons during summer 2019.
I also started a Gardening Club for No Limits Cafe, a restaurant that employees people with intellectual disabilities. I led garden meetings with them, and grew very comfortable working and connecting with people who are intellectually disabled.
