More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My experiences working with children began with my first job at a trampoline park, where I interacted with kids daily, ensuring they played safely in a fun and clean environment. Additionally, I have spent time watching my nieces so my sister could enjoy date nights. When they visited, I would take them to play places, movies, or the park, helping to create lasting memories.
Before becoming pregnant with my daughter, I worked as a nanny for five girls, whose ages ranged from newborn to nine years old. I nannied for them for about six months until I encountered health complications during my pregnancy.
Once my daughter turned one, I nannied for a friend's daughter, who was the same age as my little girl. They had a great time playing together, and we engaged in activities like sensory bins, reading books, going for walks, and attending toddler-friendly events at libraries and other locations in the area.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Puzzles, problem solving games, movies, building blocks, flash cards, video games, going to the park, libraries, stroller walks or hikes. Working on motor skills and language, making sure to engage and converse with children to stimulate their brains and make life fun!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have consistently gone above and beyond in my role as a nanny. I always ensure that we engage in a variety of activities, such as creating sensory bins, going on stroller walks, playing at the park, and working on language and motor skills through pretend play. In addition to caring for the children, I also cook meals and thoroughly deep clean and organize the space. I believe that a clean and uncluttered environment is essential for fostering curiosity and learning, allowing kids to explore safely and thrive in their surroundings.
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve worked with kids on the autism spectrum and I am very understanding, calm and patient. I read body language well and sit there with them when times are rough and they have a hard time communicating. I’ve helped special Ed classrooms and worked with the kids on their homework and other tasks.

Babysitter Available in Lynchburg, VA: Rain R.
my name is rain, i’m 18. i’m currently taking classes to become a CMA , working towards becoming a midwife. I chose midwife specifically because the birth of a child is beautiful, helping birth the child is even more of a blessing. I’m also a rainbow mom so children are my weakness in the most positive way! I have 6 siblings , 4 nieces, & 4 nephews, so i have much experience with childcare. I’m able to clean, cook or meal prep, help parents if need be, help with homework, run errands, & help parents with bath time if the parent doesn’t want me directly bathing their child. I look forward to hearing from many good families & to all i don’t i wish the best of luck to. thank you !
