I love helping, teaching, and inspiring children. One week ago a family with 8 children who lived next to me, for the past 3 years, moved out of their house. 4 of the children I have taught at ILTX, the past two years.

I am a retired teacher. I have taught children from 4 years old to 16 years old . English , language arts, was the subject that I taught in junior high, but I taught all subjects in elementary school. The love of seeing children get excited about their own accomplishments, is one of the main reasons I love working with children. ESL was another subject I taught, but to adults. The adults laughed and enjoyed learning English as much as children of all ages enjoy learning in a fun, encouraging environment. I have 2 children, who are grown, and am blessed to have 4 grandchildren . My husband and I believe that our life would not be as awesome as it is , without Jesus . My grandchildren call me Grammy. Every summer we have “ Grammy Camp” . All 4 kids come and we spend the week having wonderful adventures. I love watching them get to know each other better, and learn manners, cooking, new games, and many times historical facts.
