The most important part about being a nanny...
Even though it's important for me to find gigs to support myself, it doesn't mean I am fit for every job. I would like to work with kids who I am able to bond with. If I feel that we don't connect well, I will be upfront about it because both myself and the kid(s) should be very comfortable with each other. As a nanny, it's important that the kids are able to feel safe and secure with me. There needs to be trust between the parents, the kids, and me. It's not only about the money.
