I have been nannying as a side job for as long as I can remember. I have experience tutoring students K-12th (Americorps) and I was a preschool teacher for the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe in Washington State. I recently moved back home from WA and am looking for a full or part time job Mon-Fri.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love the outdoors. I enjoy riding bikes, arts & crafts, rollerblading, going to the beach, swimming, going on walks. Also, I grew up swimming and playing softball, so I love sports too.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love gaining experience working with children. I am pursuing my Masters in Elementary Ed. and nannying has helped me so much with figuring out that 1) working with children comes so naturally to me and 2) I could do it as my forever career. My mom is a 2nd grade teacher and she is the best mentor!

I currently work with a special needs student. I have 1-2 years of experience working with special needs children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have so many favorite nannying moments. However, I recently substituted for a 3rd grade classroom and some of the students drew me pictures and wrote "BEST SUB EVER...I LOVE YOU" and it made my whole day. :)
