A little bit about me

I am a retired VPK teacher from Graceway Academy in Ocala. I worked there for about 14 years before retiring in 2021 . I currently am employed at Picasso’s Pallet, however, only working 5 hours every 2 weeks due to business being slow . I am very active with children, love to teach, play, and learn in a loving way . I am a young and active 73 year old grandmother of 4 grandchildren. I was a nanny for my 2 grandchildren, boy and girl, while my daughter in law and son advanced their careers. Daughter in law a nurse and my son building his Boars Head Provision’s business in The Villages and Gainesville .
I am CPR certified although I would take a refresher course if needed . I am not first-aid certified but have had my share of first aid training to say I was capable of a situation if it arrives.
I am married for 55 years and am a Christian .

I am a retired VPK teacher at GraceWay Academy. A private Christian School . Employed from 2006 to 2021 .
I also took care of my 2 grandchildren and babysat for many of my friends children .

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Love doing crafts and being creative .. reading to the children, playing with the children .. going outside on adventures, pretending and getting the creativity and imagination going . They can learn all sorts of things through playing .

The most important part about being a nanny...

Loving a child ! Caring as if they were your own. Teaching and correcting a child with love and kindness, compassion and respect.
