I have baby sat for my neighbor and my moms cousins and helped with 2 year olds at my old daycare.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I feel the most important part of being a nanny is to connect with the child/children. It helps them feel more comfortable with you and helps to get to know them more. When you connect with a child it helps them get comfortable with you coming over again and they will be more willing to talk and express which will make playing more fun and not uncomfortable or awkward.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a cousin with a learning disability. I play and help him with manners and things he should and shouldn’t do. I also have a neighbor who has autism and I have helped his mom when she goes shopping and I have also played with him.
