Hi, my name is Caybree, I have 4 years of experience with babysitting, and 2 as a part time nanny. I am a senior in Highschool (18 years old), and am attending Ball State as an art education major next year. I enjoy planning and providing fun, stimulating, and engaging experiences for the kids, as well as preparing crafts and other hands-on activities. I can help with housekeeping and errands, and am able to drive children to extracurriculars or other activities. I am lifeguard, first-aid, and CPR certified by Red Cross. I am comfortable watching 2 children ranging from 6 months to 10 years, and 3 from 2 years to 10 years. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Volunteered in church nursery with children ages 1-3 and 4-5. I have nannied for the past two years during the summer for two children ages 5 and 6, and have been babysitting for families for 4 years. I have infant experience and would be willing to watch 2 children ages 4+ months - 6 years, and 3 children 5+ years - 10 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I plan on majoring in Art Education, so I enjoy planning activities for children that are immersive and hands on, such as scavenger hunts, or stem activities, and even simple playing. I love preparing arts and crafts like activities, and also enjoy taking children to indoor/outdoor parks, libraries, pools, and museums. If children are old enough, baking is an activity I enjoy doing with them as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about nannying is that the children are attended to have a figure they they can depend. I feel it's important that they are provided immersive activities and are able to have the opportunity to further their growth and development.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience with children who have aspergers, ADHD, and some experience with children who have other mild behavioral struggles.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment nannying would be this past summer, when I was taking my kids on a walk around the neighborhood. It was mid July, in the 90's and one of the children had been hyper-fixated on vampires and mythical creatures all summer. The little girl (7yrs, almost 8) decided to ride her bike around the neighborhood while wearing a full black cape and cowboy hat to protect her from the sun! It was absolutely hilarious and I thought it was the cutest thing ever.
