I have worked for families with 1-3 children and in high school used to work for a daycare during the summer as well as volunteer for an after school program for families in need.

My favorite part about being a nanny is that it is not a normal job— I get to go to the park or work on homework, take them to partice/ games and essentially hang out with them. There is no activity I do not do.
For younger children, I try to find a perfect mix of going outside and being active while also trying to work with them on academics.
For older children, they already have their own activities or things they enjoy, and I find joy in getting the chance to share and take part in whatever their hobbies may be.
I do not believe in being a nanny that puts them in front of the TV all day since that is neither productive nor what I am payed to do.

is caring for the child without being a parent. A lot of nannies I have met tend to start parenting others children and although it is important to give input and communicate, at the end of the day I am not there to decide how you wish to raise your child. Nevertheless, I will always care for them as if they are my own.
