I was once a mentor for kids ages 8-13 for a year and a half. I have worked in worked in two daycares within the last 3 1/2 years with age groups ranging from 9 months - 8 years old. I also babysit here and there for a few families!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Arts & crafts, reading, painting, scavenger hunts, building forts (personal fav!), science experiments (baking soda volcano THE BEST!!), nature walks, dance parties, yoga, music jam sessions, sensory bins.

To me, the most important part about being a nanny is building a strong, loving, trusted bond with the kids I am caring for & the families! I want the kids to feel safe, seen, loved, supported & understood. I want the parents to know that their child is safe with me!

The most important part about being a nanny...
This may sound cliche but my favorite nanny moments are always when the kids ask where I am at the next day, or they ask for me to come back. These are my favorite moments because it just lets me know the kids had fun & enjoyed their time with me, & that is all that matters to me! A specific moment would be when a shy kids eventually opens up to me, that warms my heart so much!! To know I am creating a safe space for the kids mean the most to me.
