A little bit about me

I have been working with infants of through twelve-year-olds for 11 years and have a passion for helping children learn.

I have worked at schools, churches, Vacation Bible school, daycares, and done individual babysitting. I have three years of daycare experience and two years of nannying.

I am Infant and Adult CPR certified, and have no points on my license. I am willing to help with homework and especially love teaching children that are preschool age or younger.

I am more than happy to help with any chores or errands. I am comfortable with pets and have a cat and dog of my own. I have a CDA specialized in Preschool and am working towards my Associates.

I am fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and keep up to date with my flu shots.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to paint and do other crafts and science experiments! I love hands on activities. I love to do simple cooking projects when age appropriate. I like learning through play, such as teaching mixing colors with paint. I enjoy a lot of pretend play, and love to read stories.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is making sure children feel safe and loved. Above all, every child needs to feel safe. I want every child to learn the coping skills they need to, and to be able to enjoy childhood knowing they have supportive adults in their life.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with disabled children at the Russell Home, and at a dance. I helped them walk to places and feed them. Disabled children have different needs but should not be treated any differently and I wholeheartedly believe that.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My kids discovered they could roll their Play Doh containers and were rolling them around on the table with such joy and it was adorable. It wasn’t what they were “supposed” to do with Play Doh, but they had discovered something new.
