Hi! My name is Chandler and I love working with kids! I have experience with children from 6 months old to 12 years old.

My approach to childcare is to support the parents and household while keeping the kids active and learning. I'm a creative with a strong background in art and design so I love sharing that with the kids I work with. I used to do weekly art lessons with my last family and the girls absolutely loved learning about art history and new skills to create with.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

- Girls lacrosse coach for elementary and middle school aged girls as well as coached and volunteered for many lacrosse camps and workshops
- Babysat children age 6 months to 12 years old both in home and travel
- Weekly art lessons with 8 and 11 year old

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

art, walking, music, swimming, reading, puzzles, games, dress up, movie time, any sport (but expecially lacrosse!)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a support for the family as a whole not just the children. I grew up with a mom that carried a lot of the load when it came to childcare and running the household so I know what it's like to juggle everything with little support. First and foremost a nanny should be a trusted and reliable person to the children cared for, but also the parents.

My experience with special needs children...

I don't have much hands on experience with special needs children but I worked in a speech/physical/occupational therapy clinic and was raised by a physical therapist that works with children on the spectrum, down syndrome, etc. so I'm familiar with their needs and I'm 100% comfortable working with a special needs child.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have a special place in my heart for the girls I worked with last. We did art lessons every week and I still have a few of the things we made decorating my studio. Their excitement for learning and developing their art skills was such a joy to be around.
