Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In the 7th grade I would go home with one of my teachers and help her to take care of her son before my grandmother came to pick me up later in the afternoon. I also have a big family so there are lots of smaller children and I’ve had experience over the years with watching and taking care of them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love cooking and doing crafts and I know that is something kids love to do and I always find ways to be imaginative when doing crafts. I also like to occasionally go outside and do things like jump on a trampoline, swim, go to the park, and etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part is to make sure the child is safe at all times and kept happy. Also following the parents instructions carefully so that you don’t miss any important notes about the child you are caring for at the time.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have much experience with special needs children but I do know that sometimes they have more needs than other children and require more attention.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was when I was helping the family move into a new home and me and the child I was watching would play hide and seek and jump on the bed until we were tired.
