My name is very hard to pronounce (shar-dale-ya) for children, so I usually give them nick names to call me. I told my children at the daycare to call me Day. One day they all surprised me by saying “Good afternoon chardaleya!” in unison. It was something they decided to do amongst themselves as a gift for me. It was one of the most touching moments I’ve ever experienced in my entire life.
