I am 15 years old. I am very patient and good at teaching emotion identification and regulation for the little ones. I have had a lot of experience supporting children emotionally and taking care of them physically. I like to clean and keep things tidy, so I have some experience with housework. I like to teach the importance of self-care, and always respond with empathy. I study psychology in my free time, and plan on working in the medical/mental health field in the future. I’m artistic and am great at teaching reading, math, and other subjects to a certain degree. I love pets, the color blue, and playing instruments. I was a teacher’s assistant for about a year for kindergartners. I have babysat infants and smaller children for family friends.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to read, draw and paint with children. As long as I am sure I can provide supervision, I like to bake and cook with them as well. I encourage safe outdoor exploration, and can play outdoor sports such as soccer and football. Anything they would like to do, as long as it is safe, I am perfectly fine with accommodating to them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Nurturing children. Guiding them as they take the steps towards becoming self-sufficient young adults. Even if it means putting a bandaid on a scratch after they fall, or playing with toys and acting out stories that they come up with. It all matters to me.
