I love to read, draw and paint with children. As long as I am sure I can provide supervision, I like to bake and cook with them as well. I encourage safe outdoor exploration, and can play outdoor sports such as soccer and football. Anything they would like to do, as long as it is safe, I am perfectly fine with accommodating to them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Nurturing children. Guiding them as they take the steps towards becoming self-sufficient young adults. Even if it means putting a bandaid on a scratch after they fall, or playing with toys and acting out stories that they come up with. It all matters to me.

In my experience, an environment that is too strict becomes stressful for not just the children, but also the parents and myself. Adults are present in a child’s life to teach and guide, but that doesn’t mean we can’t also let a child follow their natural instincts. Children are people too!
I am willing to plan activities and crafts, go on occasional outings, prepare meals, and do some basic cleaning and pet care. I was CPR certified in the past but that has since expired. I am willing to renew it if necessary.
