More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at an after school care with kindergarten and first graders. I mainly got to color and play blocks and other toys with them!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy baking with the older kids! I think it is so fun for them to learn how to make something simple like cookies or cupcakes! With younger kids I like to let them lead the way and be independent so if they want to play with dolls or cars, that's what I do! I enjoy going to the park and having a picnic when it is a nice day outside! I have a picnic basket and its so fun to pack! If you have a trampoline I will be out there jumping with the kiddos! I love being outside in the fresh air so if it is a nice day out that is where we would spend most of the time!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Respecting the family and what they ask of me. I will never go against what you want done for your child. The child's safety is the most important thing in the world. We can not forget to have fun though!

My experience with special needs children...

I worked at a school as a teachers aid for kids who have autism. I worked in the non verbal unit where most kids were 5-8 years old.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I nannied for the same family for almost an entire year. Sadly it had to come to an end at the beginning of the pandemic and not knowing what it could become. At Easter that same year I dropped Easter baskets off on their front porch for the girls to have as a goodbye gift from me. The video I got from the mom of the girls running to the front door and seeing what I had left them and the smiles on their faces will forever be my favorite memory. It did make it a even harder to leave them!!
