More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Professional nannying, academic tutoring, event-based childcare, and structured church childcare programs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning age-appropriate, engaging activities that support both learning and fun. Indoors, I like doing arts and crafts, reading together, educational games, puzzles, homework support, and creative play that encourages critical thinking and imagination. Outdoors, I enjoy supervised park visits, walks, playground time, and active games that help children build motor skills and confidence. I also incorporate structured routines, independent play, and enrichment activities tailored to each child’s interests and developmental needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is building trust with both the children and their parents. My role goes beyond daily care, I strive to be a consistent, reliable presence who supports each child’s growth, emotional well-being, and development while also giving parents peace of mind. I value clear communication, respect family routines and values, and take pride in being someone parents can confidently rely on and lean on. Knowing that families feel supported, informed, and reassured while their children feel safe, understood, and encouraged is what makes this work truly meaningful to me.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with diverse needs, including ADHD, autism spectrum differences, and learning or behavioral challenges. I am comfortable following individualized routines, supporting emotional regulation, using positive behavior strategies, and collaborating with parents to meet each child’s specific needs in a patient, structured, and supportive way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I cared for proudly taught me a song they had been practicing all week. Seeing their confidence grow and knowing I played a small role in supporting that moment was incredibly rewarding.
