The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the kids know they are loved and valued. That they can tell you anything and not be scared that what they say will get them in trouble or disliked. I want kids to tell me when things aren't ok and that they need help.

I've worked with autistic kids as well as kids with T1D (I also have it myself) and kids with down syndrome
The most important part about being a nanny...
I remember watching a kid names Charlie and every day I'd make sure to recognise that he was always wearing light up sneakers. And every day he'd say "thank you your blue hair matches my lights!" he was so sweet. He used to call us the blue twins when he introduced me to his other friends.
