Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
1. Home Room mother for a couple years for my daughters elementary classroom.
2. 4-H groups I operated the concession stand and the kids helped and served the customers and I over-saw them every weekend for a couple years. All ages.
3. Always had multiple kids at our house throughout all the school year's playing and spending the night or the weekend.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Mirror love, respect, honesty. Consistency from the parents instructions. Cleaning up and keeping the place tidy. Leave the reprimanding to the parent's. Nurturing the children with positive affirmations.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I've never been a Nanny yet. But...i have been with uncountable children throughout my years with my 3 grown daughters. So I thought I would just share some thoughts I believe in..
All children are amazing with their own unique gifts to share to the world.
Every word or thought counts and is very important from every child.
No child is better than the next and should be praised and never talked to condescending in any form.
No one can replace the mother or the father and no one should ever try to take that step in the wrong direction.
I feel that no one should tell or make a child do anything but instruct them lovingly.
All people give a person the best results by instructing them with love.
When you have 3 grown girls and one that is 17, I believe that the experience has already been achieved.
I am trying to find a job that I feel that I would enjoy and hopefully be a positive influence on the children I might cross paths with.
