A little bit about me

Hi! I’m a 25-year-old Georgia State University graduate with a degree in Health Sciences, and I’m currently pursuing another degree in Psychology while also completing a course to become a Registered Behavioral Technician. I’ve been working with children of all ages since I was 16, and caring for kids has always been something that comes naturally to me. I’m loving, nurturing, patient, and outgoing, and my friends and family would definitely describe me as “the mom of the group.” I love reading, writing, watching movies, going on walks, and creating fun memories with the little ones I care for. My goal is to use everything I’ve learned to create a safe, loving, and supportive environment where every child feels heard, valued, and comfortable being themselves. 💕

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Nanny, Babysitter, YMCA Camp Counselor, and Assistant Teacher. I have been working with children of all ages since I was 16, including infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and teenagers. I also have experience working with children with special needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love arts and crafts, coloring, reading, playing outside, going to the park, playing games, and finding fun, age-appropriate activities that keep kids engaged and smiling! I also love dancing, singing, and getting creative with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny to me is making children feel safe, loved, heard, and cared for. I treat every child with the same love and patience I would want someone to show my own child. I also believe in creating a fun, positive environment where they can learn, grow, and be themselves.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience caring for children with special needs, including children with Down syndrome and PANS. I’m patient, nurturing, attentive, and understand that every child has different needs, routines, and ways of communicating. My goal is always to make each child feel safe, loved, supported, and understood.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was baking brownies with a child I cared for. We stepped out of the kitchen for just five minutes, only to come back and find her cat sitting right in the bowl of brownie mix! We were both completely shocked and ended up laughing about it for the rest of the night. It’s one of those unexpected, silly moments that I’ll always remember because we had so much fun together.

Kennedy J. - Seeking Work in Atlanta

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Atlanta, GA: Kennedy J.

Hi, my name is Kennedy and I’m 20 years old. I love working out, eating lots of fruit, my favorite color is brown and I love to sing Disney music. I’ve worked with children for over two years, in aftercare, as a teacher’s assistant, and with siblings and family. What I enjoy most about working with kids is that they’re far from the “ignorant” reputation people give them. They’re smart, curious, and require you to see the world through an optimistic, light-filled lens that adulthood doesn’t always allow. I appreciate everything I gain from working with kids just as much as what I’m able to give them.

Mecca M. - Seeking Work in Atlanta

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Atlanta, GA: Mecca M.

For the past six years, I have been working as a childcare provider, and it has been a deeply enriching experience. As a caregiver, I have had the privilege of supporting children's growth and development, creating educational and engaging activities, and providing a safe and nurturing environment. It is incredibly fulfilling to watch children learn and thrive under my guidance, and I take pride in the relationships I have built with both the children and their families. At the same time, being a childcare provider has also taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and problem-solving skills, all of which I apply both in my professional and personal life. Whether I am singing lullabies to a toddler, helping a young child with a challenging homework problem or simply lending an ear to a parent who needs support, I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such an essential and rewarding role in society. Full-Time Nanny Available in Atlanta, GA: Lakescia B.

I graduated high school and received a high school diploma. I went to college at University of West Georgia to take up Early Childhood Education for 1 year and a half. I’ve always been good with nurturing and caring for kids basically all my life lol because I’m the oldest sibling of 4 so it’s a passion that has grown on me and I love it. I now have a child of my own he’s 1 yrs old. I taught him a lot by homeschooling him until he turned one. I have multiple experiences working at daycares, summer camps and even nannying for family members.
