Hello, I am a motivated kind person who would love to begin nanny positions again. I am a mom of a 3 year old and a soon to be mom as well. I would love to find a family and be able to stay with one or a few people who are supportive and kind and need someone part time. I have my aed, cpr and first aid certification. I am willing to cook meals and clean up after the children. I love being around kids, being a mom has helped me grow and expand my knowledge and abilities to taking care of children. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a substitute teacher for Alachua county, as well have nannied for multiple families in Gainesville and in Oswego New York as a teenager when I lived there.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love cooking and reading with children. I love finding new parks to go to and going for walks.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My most important part of being a nanny is allowing the parents to be relaxed and at peace knowing someone is with their children they can trust. I always am available to call and check on the children.

My experience with special needs children...

I do not have significant experience with special needs, I have taken care of an autistic little girl, she needed kindness and compassion in her every day life. I have dealt with ADHD and ADD in children prior and listened to the parents and how to manage and respond during outbursts. I am always willing to learn and always willing to handle each and every situation with a child the way their parents would prefer. I never intend, or will overstep on a parents rules and needs for their children.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments was when I was with my New York family, they had four children and we had been playing and winding down from the day and each child agreed on a movie and wanted to just sit and eat popcorn and wait on mom and dad to come home. This always stuck with me and is a moment I keep with me and recreate with my own family. I love the wind down, when everyone is just happy from a day of play and excitement.
