Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I helped babysit by nephew for a whole year and it was very fun, sometimes challenging but we both got to learn each other and come up with goal to help each other become on the same page. I had to get him up in the morning and prepare his breakfast and make sure he was ready for his classes and help him through them if needed, then we would watch some tv shows and finish homework later and by the afternoon my older sister would come home and I would update her about the day and all the activities we did. On the days I would spend the night I would take his bath and have his pajamas ready and turn on his show and put him to bed but sometimes I would let him have some of his cookies but made sure he brushed his teeth again. It was fun to babysit with him get to understand him more.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I can tell being a parent on its own is sometimes frustrating especially when you want your child to be at his or her best and in the best care possible. That why I treat children like there my own family and make them feel safe and understood and most importantly happy.

My experience with special needs children...

My nephew is on the spectrum and I love him so much because of how smart he is and how much he has grown. He is so bright and funny. He has taught me so much about himself and what it means to be happy.
