Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Making art projects, going to parks, on walks, museums, or the beach! I love to be active and spend time outside and would enjoy including your kiddos in various outings, too! An occasional trip for ice cream or sweet treats is always on the table as well :-)
The most important part about being a nanny...
Communication!! I greatly value the trust that is given when caring for others kiddos and recognize that it is a partnership. I believe it is best established and maintained when communication is clear between myself and the family on all aspects necessary! It is also important to me to be a consistent person for children when their parents are away and building a positive relationship with them, and their family. And of course, having fun! I always strive to learn about the individual children I work with, to better understand their needs, their interests, their personality, and all of the things they love! Perhaps those they don't love, too. Having a holistic perspective of the child is invaluable and allows me to show up with the utmost care, compassion, and understanding.

I have worked as a paraeducator in an Elementary Special Education classroom with students who had neurodevelopmental and/or learning disabilities. I am also in my final year of my undergraduate program in Special Education teaching.
