A little bit about me

Hi! My names Chloe, and I’m looking for a new nanny/babysitting job. I have a genuine love to care for children. Working with children has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I recently was working for an amazing family with a 4, 6, and 9 year old. All girls, and the 9 year old was autistic as well. Most nanny/babysitting jobs have been accompanied by me and my girlfriend. Having somebody else there if there’s multiple children helps out a ton. Also, having somebody else there for safety reasons makes me feel a lot more comfortable in my place of work. I have experience with all ages besides infants (below 3 years). Although I wouldn’t mind taking upon caring for infants as well. I want to create a safe but also fun environment for any child to let their personalities run wild around me. I’m a big fan of routines and having something set out every day for a child to do. Whether it’s helping them with homework, or having a fun craft or game to pass the time by.

More About Me

My experience with special needs children...

My last family had a 9 year old daughter who was autistic. I believe people have a hard time separating the person from the autism. She was the most caring, and loving child. Due to her autism, she would have outbursts. Hitting, screaming. She liked to play with a lot more force than most children would generally, but I found it pretty manageable to calm her down. I’ve taken her outside to let her scream as loud and as much as she wanted to, to get it all out at once. That has seemed to work multiple times with controlling her outbursts and having her calm down. She was the biggest ball of sunshine and happiness. Smarter than lots of the people I have met. My younger cousin is autistic and I grew up around him most of the time, learning what day to day autism looks like, and how to manage it.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Having the parents text me telling me the children had them kiss them goodnight on the forehead for me too🥹. I love making an impact as a loving and caring person in children’s lives.
