A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Chloe, and I am moving to Boston this summer to start my masters degree of Public Health at BU (2 year program)! My concentration is maternal and family health, as well as healthcare management. I have been working with children since the age of 14 (+5 years), I have worked for daycares, summer camps, and families (full and part-time nannying). I also volunteered at a crisis nursery where my role was a crisis nurse, and my job was to give temporary childcare to families going through emergencies such as mental health episodes, unexpected deaths, domestic abuse, and homelessness. I have always loved working with families, which is why my concentration for my MPH is maternal and family health. My strengths are kindness, responsibility, hard-working, and organized. I am very quick on my feet and I am American Red Cross Child Care certified. I am looking for a part-time (live-in) Nanny position that will give me flexibility with taking my grad courses.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I nannied for a family for about 5 years, full-time and part-time. I have babysat several different families as well, I worked at a day-care and summer camp all throughout high school, and I volunteered as a crisis nurse last year at a Crisis Nursery.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going outdoors on walks or to the playground. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts at home, and reading books! If the child is old enough, I enjoy teaching them how to bake as well :)

My experience with special needs children...

During my time at the crisis nursery, I have worked with a variety of children with special needs such as ADHD, autism, PTSD, physical disabilities, and immunodeficiency disorders.
