I’ve been a nanny for about four years now and I just love working with kids! I am motivated to support families and provide reliable care. I did a 3 1/2 month humanitarian mission in Nicaragua working in the schools teaching the little kids english. I also worked teaching dance to young kids for 5 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, educational games, going to the park, etc.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Helping kids learn and grow is so important to me. Also making the kids feel loved. I never want the children to feel bored so definitely getting out of the house or having some fun at home activities planned. But overall I think it’s most important to educate the kids and make them feel comfortable and safe.
My experience with special needs children...
I did peer tutoring in jr high and highschool.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Taking the kids on walks to lake or to the park and feeding the ducks. Another great one is little lunch dates and then a trampoline park or some other fun activity.
