To me the most important part is making sure that the kids know they are safe, loved, and heard. I always want to make sure I form some kind of connection with them to make it easier on me and them and parents!

I have worked with a few special needs children during my time at the daycare but not a whole lot. It’s not something that I have spent all day doing. I always try to understand them and make sure they are heard. I do my best to try to connect with them and be patient with them.
