What matters most about being a nanny is taking care of the child. Making sure they are happy and safe. They need to be taken care of good with a good and safe person who genuinely cares for children. Someone who also likes to have fun and actually play with the kids not someone who just sits on their phone and lets the kids play. They need to get involved with the kids and play with them. They need to also want to teach the kids. Help with homework if they have it or if it’s a toddler who just started talking maybe help teach the kid some numbers or alphabet. It’s all about being involved and wanting to help and take care of the child making sure it’s happy and safe. You need a good relationship with the family and their child to be able to be good at the job.
